1.       Full responsibility for all financial, administrative, and personnel issues of the diplomatic mission.

2.       Planned, designed and implemented a relational database environment to support all activities of the consulate, including administrative functions, passports, visas and legalization of documents. This allowed the office to process the workload in faster thus increasing productivity by 300%.

3.     Designed, developed and maintained the Consulate’s web page (my version, not longer in use) (http://www.consuve.com) using various development tools & languages such as HTML and Java for delivery over a variety of browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. The web site is visited on an average of 1200unique hits per week, allowing the user to search for information and print the different application forms.

4.       Installed and troubleshooted Operating System and Applications Software for PC’s, and Windows NT 4 Server. Install, diagnose and repair and/or reconfigure PC’s, Servers and Network Hardware.

4.       Created the department’s emergency procedures plans and operation manuals.

5.       Structured a disaster prevention plan with Banco Cafetero to insured continuity of operations in case of a major disaster.

6.      Contributed in developing the bank’s Letters of Credit Module in conjunction with the software vendor, DATAPRO, INC.

7.       Liaison between the software vendor and the bank.

8.       Reduced costs in the data processing area by 65%.
